Finpecia contains finasteride as an active drug, is a product that can prevent further hair loss and increase hair growth in men. Finpecia is manufactured by Indian company Cipla, the active ingredient Finasteride, blocks the formation of DHT (one of the male hormones that causes hair loss and baldness), and gives the hair follicles to grow and prevent from further hair loss. How does Finpecia finasteride works?
Finpecia prevents the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the body. DHT is involved in the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and hair loss.
Dosage
- The recommended dosage is 1 mg once a day. Take one tablet daily, with or without meals, in general, daily use for 3 months or more is necessary before benefit is observed.
- Continued use is recommended to sustain benefits. Withdrawal of treatment leads to a reversal of effect within 12 months.
Contraindications
