Amaryl

Glimepiride is an oral blood sugar-lowering drug in a class of medicines for controlling diabetes called sulfonylureas. Amaryl generic Glimepiride is used in type II diabetes, the most common type of diabetes that is found in 90% of patients with diabetes. Amaryl generic Glimepiride lowers the sugar level in the blood by stimulating insulin to be secreted from the pancreas into the blood.  Glimepiride is in a class of drugs called sulfonylureas.

Amaryl generic glimepiride is the first third-generation sulfonylurea, and is very potent.  Glimepiride should not be used during pregnancy or if you are breast feeding. Glimepiride pills is the generic name for the drug Amaryl. Generic glimepiride should only be used as prescribed by a physician. Generic glimepiride distinctly lower the blood glucose level by both defects of NIDDM, by stimulating pancreatic beta cells to produce more insulin and induced increased activity of peripheral insulin intra cellular receptor. Glimepiride generic pills are only part of a complete program of treatment that also includes diet, exercise, and weight control.

Amaryl glimepiride pill is an insulin-sparing sulfonylurea agent for the treatment of type II diabetes. Amaryl tablest should be taken with breakfast or the first main meal.  Amaryl lowers the sugar level in the blood by stimulating insulin to be secreted from the pancreas into the blood.
